How to Embed a Tally Form in Notion
Tally is on Notion's list of supported embeds, and it is the form tool that fits Notion best because it can also write responses into a Notion database. To put the form on a page, publish it in Tally, copy the form link, then type /embed in Notion, paste, and click "Embed link". People answer without leaving the page. Sending the answers into Notion is a separate step, set up from Tally's integrations rather than from the embed.

Tally Notion integration or embed: you probably want both
These are two separate things and they solve different halves of the problem. The embed puts the form on your Notion page so people can answer inline. Tally's Notion integration, configured from Tally, sends each submission into a Notion database as a new row. Setting up one does not set up the other, which catches people out when responses do not appear where they expected.

How to embed Tally in Notion
Publish the form in Tally
Build the form and publish it. An unpublished form has no working public link, so there is nothing useful to embed yet.
Copy the form link
Copy the public URL from Tally's share panel. It looks like https://tally.so/r/XXXXXX. Notion works from this URL, so there is no embed code to extract.
Paste it into Notion
Type /embed on your Notion page, press Enter, paste the link, and click "Embed link". The form renders and is immediately fillable.
Send responses to Notion (optional)
In Tally, open the form's integrations and connect Notion, then choose the database that should receive submissions. This is configured in Tally, not in the Notion embed.
Good to know
- Publishing is required. A draft form has no public link and cannot be embedded.
- Long forms need a tall block or respondents end up scrolling inside a small frame.
- The embed alone does not put responses in Notion. That requires connecting Notion from Tally, as a separate step.
- A redirect set as the form's confirmation action navigates inside the embed frame rather than the whole Notion page.
