How to Embed Figma in Notion (Designs & Prototypes)
To embed Figma in Notion, open your file or prototype and click Share, set link access to "Anyone with the link", and Copy link. On a Notion page, type /embed, paste the link, and click "Embed link". Notion renders a live, interactive Figma viewer — teammates can pan, zoom, and click through prototypes directly on the page, always seeing the latest version.
Why embed Figma in Notion?
- Put the latest design next to the spec or PRD it belongs to.
- Let stakeholders click through a prototype without a Figma account.
- Keep a design system or moodboard live inside project docs.
How to embed Figma in Notion
Set Figma link sharing
In Figma click Share and set "Anyone with the link" to at least "can view". Without this, the embed shows a permission error for other people.
Copy the link
Copy the file or prototype link. For a clickable prototype, open Present mode first and copy that link so the embed opens in prototype view.
Embed it in Notion
Type /embed on a Notion page, press Enter, paste the Figma link, and click "Embed link". The interactive viewer loads in the block.
Resize for comfortable viewing
Drag the handles to give the design room. Wide frames and prototypes benefit from a full-width, tall block.
Good to know
- Viewers can pan and comment (if allowed) but can't edit the file from the embed.
- Files restricted to your team won't load for external readers — use "anyone with the link".
Frequently asked questions
Does the Figma embed update when I change the design?
Yes. The embed points at the live file, so it always reflects the current version — no need to re-embed after edits.
Can I embed an interactive Figma prototype, not just a static frame?
Yes. Open the prototype in Present mode, copy that link, and embed it. The Notion block will be clickable in prototype view.
