How to Embed a Vimeo Video in Notion
To embed a Vimeo video in Notion, copy the video URL (vimeo.com/123456789), paste it onto a Notion page, and choose "Create embed". Vimeo is on Notion's supported embed list, so the player appears inline with no embed code needed. Two things decide whether it plays: the video's privacy setting must allow embedding anywhere, and unlisted videos must keep the ?h= hash on the end of the link.

Copy the full video link
Use Vimeo's Share button or the address bar. A public video is vimeo.com/123456789. An unlisted video carries a hash: vimeo.com/123456789/abcdef1234. Both parts matter — see step three.
Paste it into Notion and choose Create embed
Paste the link on the page and select "Create embed" from the menu ("Create video" works too). Notion renders the Vimeo player inline at the video's aspect ratio. You can also type /video, press Enter, and paste there.
Keep the hash on unlisted videos
Unlisted Vimeo videos need their privacy hash to play outside vimeo.com. If you trim the link down to vimeo.com/123456789 and drop the /abcdef1234 or ?h=abcdef1234 portion, the embed returns "Sorry, this video does not exist." — even though the video is very much alive. Paste the link exactly as Vimeo gives it to you.
Check the video's embed privacy
In Vimeo, open the video's Settings → Privacy → "Where can this video be embedded?". If it's set to Nowhere, or restricted to specific domains, Notion shows "This video is currently only available on Vimeo.com." Set it to Anywhere for a Notion embed to work — domain allowlists can't cover Notion's embed origin reliably.
Size the player
Drag the block wider; the player holds its aspect ratio automatically. A full-width block is the closest thing to a native video experience on a Notion page.
